Finally, my first non race weekend in over 10 weeks

Regionals was last weekend and that was pretty cool. We all worked our butts off to make sure that Kipp won the overall title and we were successful. The RR was kind of boring because of team politics, but the crit was pretty sick. A couple of technical turns with a decent sized hill and some pouring rain made for a pretty fun race. Running 85 psi has become standard in collegiate crits.

Anyway, this weekend was free from collegiate racing while Road nationals starts next Friday. There was a nearby race in TN that I was thinking about going to just to have fun but it was a high chance of thunderstorms and rain and I decided to just take the weekend off from racing. I've been racing for about 10 weeks straight so it's probably good to get this little break.

Yesterday was a beautiful 85 degree day with a lot of sun and it was supposed to pour pretty hardcore all weekend so we got a couple of people together to go do the dam ride. I was pretty excited because I hadn't been able to do that ride since before race season started when it was about sub-freezing conditions. Anyway, here are some pictures.

one of the little climbs after you cross the dam.

Allie just started racing road this year and is already kicking butt.

Speaking of Butts, I think Sarah likes to look at mine.

New team kit is pretty awesome looking

This view is also pretty awesome looking

Bryan will be racing on Wolverine's this year, don't expect him to be in the 3's for very long. This guy is getting really fast pretty quickly.

Hopefully he doesn't take anymore risky descents though..
